Based on the book by Katherine Paterson, this is a moving film about friendship and growing up. Suitable for children aged 7 and over (cert PG).  This film is being shown as part of the National Year of Reading.

Village Screen Cinema presents this truly unique documentary exploring the possibilities of music and cinema. After years of touring the world, the Icelandic band Sigur Rós returned home to play a series of free, unannounced concerts in every corner of their home country (dir. Dean DeBlois & Sigur Ros, 2007).

Takes place 12 and 13th June. Doors/bar open 7pm, screening 8pm. 'The Knockouts' will be on stage at 10pm after the film screening on the 12th.
