Hip hop heART

Local performers demonstrate their skills and prove that the hip hop community is alive in Luton. The dances, performed by the University of Bedfordshire students, Dance Nation and other skilled hip hop dance lovers, will display the variety of street dance culture and present the spectators with the styles such as locking, popping, king-tut and nu wave hip hop. Students will learn some of the hip hop moves and aim to complete a routine demonstrated by the dance teacher. The routine is for beginners, but involves different energetic movements. Wear sports trainers and loose trousers, and don’t forget to grab a bottle of water!
